Collegiate Internship Program

  • Learn the Ropes! Get Experience! Build your Strengths! As part of a leadership program to promote lifetime achievement and involvement with Delta Phi Mu, the National Board is accepting applications for important internship positions. Applicants should be senior collegiate Delta Phi Mu sisters who:

    • Wish to take advantage of the opportunity to serve at the national level, as well as earn merits and recommendations that this internship role will afford
    • Exhibit superior qualities of leadership and interest in furthering their involvement with Delta Phi Mu on a national level
    • Exhibit success in academics and the ability to balance all other personal and sorority responsibilities.

Education is critical for ensuring proper transitioning of new alumnae members from collegiate membership. A quality program will build awareness and understanding of sorority values, the importance of leadership skills, training and experiences, and how to use team building and cooperation to enhance chapter and national activities. The program will entail development in the areas of scholarship, philanthropy, public relations, and/or expansion. In addition the collegiate intern will have the opportunity to serve as an important liaison between leaders at the collegiate and national levels. Each intern will directly report to a National Director, who is designated by the National Vice President. The intern has the opportunity to tailor the internship to maximize her experience.

Interested sisters should apply by submitting their cover letter and resume for approval to the National Vice President (vicepresident@deltaphimu.org).
