Regional Meetings

  • Delta Phi Mu Sorority, Inc. splits up the United States by region, so that each collegiate chapter is represented by one region. For example, the Midwest Region consists of all chapters in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

Annually, the collegiate chapters within their region meet to discuss topics that are pertinent to collegiate chapter functions, but also to socialize as sisters of Delta Phi Mu. Chapters or Royals get new members each year, and so Regional Meetings provide opportunities for new members to meet and get to know each other in person. In addition, workshops are provided by the Collegiate Membership Services team to continue educational opportunities for collegiate membership through National Headquarters.

In years of National Convention, the Regional Meeting serves as an opportunity to review national topics of discusion, as well as a brainstorming session for items that collegiate members wish to address at Grand Chapter. In off years, this meeting serves as an opportunity to improve leadership skills and chapter ties.
